Under Siege 2: Dark Territory

“Under Siege 2: Dark Territory” is a 1995 action thriller directed by Geoff Murphy and starring Steven Seagal. It is the sequel to the 1992 film “Under Siege.” The movie follows former Navy SEAL Casey Ryback (played by Steven Seagal) as he finds himself aboard a passenger train that has been hijacked by terrorists.

The story begins with Casey Ryback boarding a train bound for Los Angeles to reunite with his niece, Sarah Ryback (played by Katherine Heigl). Unbeknownst to him, a group of mercenaries led by a former CIA operative named Travis Dane (played by Eric Bogosian) has taken control of the train. Dane, who was fired from the CIA for his radical views, plans to use a powerful satellite weapon called Grazer One to destroy targets across the United States.

As the terrorists seize control of the train and disable its communications, Ryback becomes the passengers’ only hope for survival. Armed with his combat skills and knowledge of the train’s layout, Ryback must outsmart the terrorists and thwart their plans before it’s too late.

Throughout the film, Ryback faces off against Dane’s henchmen in intense hand-to-hand combat and explosive action sequences. With the help of a young porter named Bobby Zachs (played by Morris Chestnut) and a resourceful flight attendant named Sarah Ryback, he battles against overwhelming odds to save the passengers and prevent Dane from unleashing chaos and destruction.

“Under Siege 2: Dark Territory” received mixed reviews from critics but was praised for its thrilling action scenes and Steven Seagal’s performance. It became a commercial success upon its release and has since gained a cult following among fans of action cinema.
