At the end of the film The Tank, the family, despite the harrowing experiences they’ve faced, manages to escape the horror. Even though Ben was injured by one of the territorial creatures, he survives their ordeal. The movie concludes with the family’s escape, and there’s also a post-credits scene that may hint at future implications for the story
