The Pope’s Exorcist

In the ending of The Pope’s Exorcist, Father Gabriele Amorth, portrayed by Russell Crowe, faces off against the demon Asmodeus, which has been possessing a young boy named Henry. In a desperate attempt to rid the family of the evil entity, Amorth offers himself as a vessel for the demon. The demon takes control of him, leading to intense scenes of Amorth grappling with the possession. Ultimately, Father Esquibel, Amorth’s companion, uses his holy necklace to stop Asmodeus’ manifestation, while Amorth uses a cross to dispel the zombie form of Asmodeus. The film concludes with the triumph of faith over evil, as the exorcism is successful and the demon is expelled
