The film follows Mowgli (Neel Sethi), a young human boy raised by wolves in the jungle, as he embarks on a journey to escape the threat of the tiger Shere Khan (voiced by Idris Elba) and discover his true identity.

In the climax of the film, Shere Khan confronts Mowgli and the wolf pack, demanding the boy be handed over to him. Mowgli decides to face Shere Khan on his terms, using his ingenuity and the knowledge gained from his animal friends to set a trap. During the confrontation, Mowgli uses fire, a tool he learned to control, to defend himself.

The battle with Shere Khan leads to a perilous situation, with Mowgli hanging precariously from a burning tree. Baloo (voiced by Bill Murray) and Bagheera (voiced by Ben Kingsley) intervene, working together to rescue Mowgli from the danger.

In the resolution, Mowgli decides to leave the jungle and return to the human village to protect his animal friends from the dangers he attracts. However, Shere Khan is not yet defeated. In a final showdown, Mowgli confronts Shere Khan one last time, using his knowledge of fire to gain the upper hand. Ultimately, Shere Khan meets his demise, falling into the fiery pit below.

The film ends with Mowgli embracing both his human identity and his connection to the jungle. He decides to live with the humans but maintains a balance, returning to the jungle when he can. The movie concludes with Mowgli running with his animal friends through the jungle.

In summary, “The Jungle Book” ends with Mowgli defeating Shere Khan, finding a balance between his human and animal sides, and maintaining a connection with the jungle and its inhabitants. The film celebrates themes of identity, courage, and the harmony between humans and nature.
