The movie begins with Alice (played by Milla Jovovich) launching an assault on the Umbrella Corporation’s headquarters in Tokyo, Japan, seeking to destroy the corporation and end the zombie apocalypse that has ravaged the world. Despite her efforts, the mission is only partially successful, and Alice is forced to flee.
Following the events in Tokyo, Alice sets out to find other survivors and locate the supposed safe haven known as Arcadia, which is said to be free of the T-virus infection. Along the way, she encounters Claire Redfield (played by Ali Larter), a former Umbrella Corporation operative who has lost her memory and is searching for her missing brother, Chris.
Together, Alice and Claire embark on a journey to Los Angeles, where they encounter a group of survivors hiding out in a maximum-security prison. Among them is Chris Redfield (played by Wentworth Miller), Claire’s brother, who joins forces with Alice and Claire to fight against the infected hordes and uncover the truth about Arcadia.
