The film begins with Agent K, who has retired from the Men in Black (MIB) organization and had his memory erased to live a normal life. Agent J, still an active MIB agent, continues to work tirelessly to protect Earth from alien threats, but he misses his former partner and mentor.
Meanwhile, an evil alien named Serleena (played by Lara Flynn Boyle) arrives on Earth disguised as a lingerie model in search of the “Light of Zartha,” a powerful energy source hidden on the planet. Serleena is accompanied by a two-headed alien named Scrad/Charlie (played by Johnny Knoxville), who is eager to assist her in her quest.
When Agent J learns that the Light of Zartha is linked to a woman named Laura Vasquez (played by Rosario Dawson), he tracks her down and discovers that she is the daughter of an alien princess who once visited Earth. Laura possesses the key to unlocking the Light of Zartha, making her a target for Serleena and her henchmen.
Desperate for help, Agent J seeks out his former partner Agent K and convinces him to rejoin the MIB organization to stop Serleena’s plans and protect Laura. Despite initially reluctant, Agent K agrees to return to duty and regain his memories to assist in the mission.
As Agents J and K investigate Serleena’s activities, they encounter various eccentric aliens, including the worm-like Frank the Pug (voiced by Tim Blaney) and the fast-talking alien pawnshop owner Jack Jeebs (played by Tony Shalhoub). They also reunite with the MIB’s chief, Zed (played by Rip Torn), and technician, Agent T (played by Patrick Warburton).
In a series of action-packed sequences, Agents J and K face off against Serleena and her army of alien minions, leading to a climactic showdown at the MIB headquarters. With the help of their allies and clever tactics, they manage to defeat Serleena and save Earth from destruction.
In the end, Agent K decides to retire from the MIB organization once again and resume his normal life. Agent J continues his work as an MIB agent, but he now knows that he can always count on his partner, Agent K, to have his back when needed.
