At the end of “Meg 2: The Trench,” the climax features a battle involving the main character Jonas and his crew, mercenaries led by Montes, megalodons, a giant octopus, and amphibian mini-submarines. Jonas Taylor, played by Jason Statham, manages to kill Montes by kicking him into a meg’s mouth. He then defeats the final megalodon by using a helicopter blade, allowing it to impale the creature, which brings the conflict to an end
