Burke Ryan is a successful self-help author and motivational speaker who helps people deal with grief and loss following the death of his wife in a car accident three years earlier. However, Burke is still struggling to come to terms with his own grief and guilt over his wife’s death.
While in Seattle for a self-help seminar, Burke meets Eloise Chandler, a florist who has her own unresolved issues and emotional baggage. Despite their initial awkward encounter, the two form a connection as Eloise helps Burke with the floral arrangements for his seminar.
As Burke and Eloise spend more time together, they begin to open up about their pasts and form a deeper bond. Burke finds himself falling for Eloise, but he is hesitant to let go of his grief and move on.
Meanwhile, Burke’s seminar attendees, including a grieving widow named Marty and a hotel employee named Tyler, find solace and inspiration in his teachings. Burke begins to realize that he needs to take his own advice and confront his feelings of guilt and sadness in order to find happiness again.
As Burke and Eloise’s relationship blossoms, they both must confront their fears and insecurities. Burke finally opens up to Eloise about his wife’s death and the guilt he feels for not being able to save her. Eloise, in turn, shares her own struggles with loss and abandonment.
In the end, Burke realizes that he cannot let his past hold him back from finding love and happiness again. He decides to take a chance on Eloise and pursue a relationship with her, knowing that love can help heal even the deepest wounds.
