Goosebumps

In the climax of the movie, the fictional monsters from R.L. Stine’s “Goosebumps” books are accidentally unleashed into the real world. Slappy the Dummy, a ventriloquist dummy and one of the book’s antagonists, reveals himself as the mastermind behind the chaos. He opens one of Stine’s manuscripts, creating a vortex that brings the monsters to life.

The protagonists, including teenagers Zach Cooper (Dylan Minnette) and Hannah Stine (Odeya Rush), along with R.L. Stine himself (Jack Black), team up to stop the unleashed monsters from wreaking havoc on the town.

In the resolution, the group devises a plan to suck the monsters back into a new manuscript. They confront Slappy in an abandoned amusement park, where Stine writes a new story that traps the creatures inside a book. However, Slappy manages to get his hands on the manuscript and write his own ending, trapping Stine and his friends inside the book.

The film takes an unexpected turn when the characters realize they are characters in a new Goosebumps book, and they must find a way to rewrite their story and escape. In the end, Zach and Hannah successfully rewrite the ending, freeing themselves from the book.

The movie concludes with Stine deciding to retire from writing, but he changes his mind when he meets a new neighbor, signaling the potential for more Goosebumps adventures.

In summary, “Goosebumps” ends with the protagonists successfully trapping the monsters back in a book, a twist involving the characters becoming part of a new Goosebumps story, and the hint of more adventures to come in the world of R.L. Stine’s imagination.
