The film revolves around a group of mercenaries led by John Finnegan (played by Treat Williams) who hijack a luxury cruise ship, the Argonautica, with the intention of looting its valuables. However, their plans take a terrifying turn when they encounter a deadly creature lurking in the depths of the ocean.
As the mercenaries board the ship and begin their heist, they discover that the passengers and crew have mysteriously disappeared, leaving the vessel deserted. They soon realize that they are not alone on the ship, as they encounter gruesome evidence of a savage attack.
