The film follows Jack Carter (played by Damon Wayans), an undercover cop who has been working to bring down a drug lord named Ernest LeMarque (played by Adam Sandler). Jack’s partner, Archie Moses (played by Adam Sandler), is a small-time crook who has been helping him gather evidence against LeMarque.
However, when Archie is discovered to be an undercover informant, he fakes his own death and goes into hiding. In the end, Jack is able to clear his name and bring LeMarque to justice, while Archie decides to turn over a new leaf and start fresh.
