Beloved

Set in post-Civil War Ohio, “Beloved” tells the story of Sethe (played by Oprah Winfrey), a former slave who escaped from a plantation called Sweet Home with her children. Sethe now lives in a haunted house with her daughter Denver (played by Kimberly Elise) and is haunted by the ghost of her deceased baby daughter, known as Beloved.
