The story follows Zoe Reynard (Sharon Leal), a successful businesswoman and devoted wife to her husband, Jason (Boris Kodjoe). Despite having a seemingly perfect life, Zoe becomes restless and dissatisfied. She begins engaging in a series of extramarital affairs, seeking excitement and fulfillment beyond her marriage.

As Zoe gets deeper into her affairs, her actions start to have severe consequences. She jeopardizes her relationships, her career, and her emotional well-being. Simultaneously, she tries to balance her family life, concealing her infidelities from her husband.

Zoe’s secret world of passion and desire soon spirals out of control, leading to dangerous situations and putting her marriage at risk. Her husband, suspecting her infidelity, confronts her, and Zoe must come to terms with the consequences of her actions.

In the climax, Zoe hits rock bottom as her life unravels. She realizes the destructive nature of her addiction to extramarital affairs and the toll it has taken on her marriage. In a moment of self-reflection, Zoe decides to confront her demons and work towards rebuilding her life and her relationship with her husband.

The film ends on a hopeful note as Zoe seeks therapy and begins the journey toward healing and self-discovery. The story serves as a cautionary tale about the destructive nature of addiction, whether it be to substances or destructive behaviors.

“Addicted” received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for Sharon Leal’s performance but criticism for the film’s melodramatic and formulaic elements.
