The film follows Dr. Helen Hudson (played by Sigourney Weaver), a renowned criminal psychologist who becomes a recluse after surviving a brutal attack by a serial killer named Daryll Lee Cullum (played by Harry Connick Jr.). Helen’s trauma leaves her with severe agoraphobia, making her unable to leave her apartment.
Meanwhile, a new series of murders begins in San Francisco, bearing striking similarities to those committed by Cullum. Detectives M.J.
