As Howard’s search grows increasingly desperate, he encounters a colorful cast of characters, including a shady mall Santa (played by Jim Belushi) and a group of bootleg toy dealers. Along the way, he learns valuable lessons about the true meaning of Christmas and the importance of spending time with loved ones.

In the climax of the film, Howard finally manages to obtain a Turbo-Man doll after a series of comedic mishaps and misunderstandings. He rushes home to Jamie, only to discover that his wife, Liz (played by Rita Wilson), has already given him a Turbo-Man doll as a backup gift.
