Disturbing Behavior

The film follows the story of Steve Clark (played by James Marsden), a high school student who moves with his family to the idyllic town of Cradle Bay. However, Steve soon discovers that something sinister is lurking beneath the surface of the seemingly perfect community.

As Steve settles into his new school, he befriends Gavin Strick (played by Nick Stahl), an outcast who warns him about a group of students known as the “Blue Ribbons.” The Blue Ribbons are the school’s elite clique, but they have undergone a mysterious behavioral modification program that has turned them into model students with a dark secret.

Steve becomes increasingly suspicious of the Blue Ribbons and their leader, the charismatic but menacing Dr. Edgar Caldicott (played by Bruce Greenwood), who oversees the program. He teams up with Gavin and Rachel Wagner (played by Katie Holmes), another student who shares his concerns, to uncover the truth behind the program and stop its sinister agenda.

As they investigate further, Steve and his friends uncover evidence of mind control experiments and unethical medical practices conducted by Dr. Caldicott and the town’s authorities. They realize that the Blue Ribbons are being manipulated into carrying out violent and destructive acts, and they must expose the truth before it’s too late.

In a climactic showdown, Steve and his friends confront Dr. Caldicott and the Blue Ribbons in a desperate bid to stop the program and save their classmates from being brainwashed. They face off against the brainwashed students in a tense and thrilling confrontation that tests their courage and determination.

Ultimately, Steve and his friends succeed in exposing the truth about the program and bringing Dr. Caldicott to justice. The town of Cradle Bay is left shaken by the revelation of the sinister experiments that have been carried out in its midst, but Steve and his friends are hailed as heroes for their bravery and determination.

“Disturbing Behavior” is praised for its chilling atmosphere, suspenseful plot, and strong performances from its cast. It explores themes of conformity, rebellion, and the dangers of unchecked authority, making it a thought-provoking and compelling addition to the science fiction horror genre.
