Love & Basketball

The film begins in 1981 in Los Angeles, where eleven-year-old Monica Wright (played by Kyla Pratt) moves in next door to Quincy McCall (played by Glenndon Chatman), the son of a professional basketball player. Initially, Monica and Quincy clash due to their competitive natures, but they eventually become close friends.
