The film is set on a Yorkshire chicken farm called Tweedy’s Egg Farm, run by the tyrannical Mr. and Mrs. Tweedy. The chickens live in fear of being turned into pies if they fail to lay enough eggs, and their attempts to escape have been unsuccessful.
