In the climax of the film, Mattie Webber (played by Kristen Bell) and her friends confront the malevolent forces behind the mysterious supernatural occurrences that have been plaguing them.

Throughout the movie, Mattie and her friends, including her boyfriend Josh (played by Jonathan Tucker), become increasingly disturbed by a series of strange and terrifying events involving electronic devices and ghostly apparitions. They soon realize that they are being targeted by malevolent spirits from the afterlife who are using technology to infiltrate the world of the living.

As the haunting intensifies, Mattie and her friends desperately search for answers and a way to stop the sinister forces that threaten to consume them. They uncover a dark secret behind the phenomena, linked to an experiment conducted by a scientist named Dr. Waterson (played by Ron Rifkin) to open a gateway between the living and the dead.

In the final act, Mattie and her friends confront Dr. Waterson and his malevolent creation, a powerful entity known as the “Pulse.” They must use all their wits and courage to defeat the Pulse and close the portal between the worlds before it’s too late.

The film ends with Mattie and her surviving friends escaping the nightmare and attempting to rebuild their lives in the wake of the terrifying ordeal. However, the threat of the Pulse lingers, and the specter of the supernatural continues to haunt them, leaving them to wonder if they will ever truly be safe.

The ending of “Pulse” is a chilling and unsettling conclusion to the film’s tale of technological terror and supernatural horror. It leaves viewers with a sense of unease and uncertainty as they contemplate the lingering threat of the unknown and the dangers that lurk in the shadows of modern technology.
