Away from Her

In the climax of the film, Grant (played by Gordon Pinsent) comes to terms with the devastating effects of Alzheimer’s disease on his wife, Fiona (played by Julie Christie), and their relationship.

Throughout the movie, Grant struggles to cope with Fiona’s deteriorating mental state as she becomes increasingly affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
