Meet the Robinsons

In the climax of the film, Lewis, the young inventor, finally discovers the identity of his future self, Cornelius Robinson, and uncovers the truth about his family’s history.

Throughout the movie, Lewis, an orphan and aspiring inventor, travels to the future with the help of Wilbur Robinson, a boy from the future, to find a family that will adopt him. Along the way, Lewis encounters a series of mishaps and adventures, including encounters with the villainous Bowler Hat Guy and his robotic hat, Doris.

In the final moments of the film, Lewis learns that Wilbur is actually his future son and that he is destined to become Cornelius Robinson, a successful inventor and founder of the futuristic Robinson family. He also discovers that Doris, the robotic hat, was created by his roommate, Goob, who became bitter and vengeful after losing a baseball game due to Lewis’ actions.

With the help of the Robinson family, Lewis and Wilbur confront Bowler Hat Guy and Doris, ultimately defeating them and preventing them from altering the timeline. As a result, Lewis is officially welcomed into the Robinson family, where he finds love, acceptance, and a sense of belonging.

In the end, Lewis realizes that family is not defined by blood relations but by love and support, and he decides to stay with the Robinsons in the future, embracing his destiny as an inventor and a member of the family.

Through its heartwarming climax and themes of family, acceptance, and perseverance, “Meet the Robinsons” delivers a satisfying conclusion to its story.
