Vampires Suck

The film is a spoof of popular vampire-themed movies and television shows, particularly the “Twilight” series. It follows the story of Becca Crane (played by Jenn Proske), a clumsy and awkward teenager who moves to the small town of Sporks to live with her father after her mother remarries.

In Sporks, Becca quickly becomes enamored with Edward Sullen (played by Matt Lanter), a mysterious and brooding vampire who attends the local high school. Despite warnings from her friend, Jacob White (played by Chris Riggi), about the dangers of falling for a vampire, Becca finds herself drawn to Edward’s dark and mysterious charm.

As Becca and Edward’s romance blossoms, they must navigate the complexities of their relationship, including Edward’s struggles with his vampire nature and Becca’s insecurities about fitting in at her new school. Along the way, they encounter a colorful cast of characters, including Edward’s vampire family and the members of a rival werewolf clan.

In a series of comedic set pieces, the film parodies iconic scenes from the “Twilight” series, as well as other vampire-themed media. It pokes fun at the melodramatic dialogue, romantic clichés, and supernatural elements that have become synonymous with the genre.

As Becca and Edward’s relationship is put to the test, they must confront their own insecurities and differences in order to find true love. Along the way, they learn valuable lessons about acceptance, self-discovery, and the power of friendship.

“Vampires Suck” is praised for its irreverent humor, clever satire, and spot-on parody of the “Twilight” phenomenon. It offers a lighthearted and entertaining take on the vampire genre, filled with laugh-out-loud moments and memorable gags.
