A Haunted House

As the narrative unfolds, Malcolm (Marlon Wayans) and Kisha (Essence Atkins) experience bizarre and increasingly disturbing paranormal activities in their new home. They decide to document the occurrences, leading to comedic and absurd situations.

In the climax, the film builds to a confrontation with a demonic force possessing Kisha. Malcolm seeks the help of a psychic, played by Nick Swardson, to exorcise the demon and save Kisha.

In the resolution, the film takes a humorous turn as the exorcism attempts become increasingly absurd and unconventional. The comedy is derived from the parody of horror tropes, including possession and exorcism clichés. The ending features a mix of supernatural chaos and slapstick humor.

The movie concludes with a humorous twist, setting the stage for potential sequels. The ending maintains the film’s satirical approach to the horror genre, delivering laughs through exaggerated and over-the-top scenarios.

“A Haunted House” received generally negative reviews from critics but found an audience among those who enjoyed the film’s parody and Wayans’ comedic style. The movie relies on spoofing popular horror conventions, and the ending is consistent with the comedic tone established throughout.
