We’re the Millers

The story revolves around David Clark (played by Jason Sudeikis), a small-time drug dealer who gets into trouble when his stash and cash are stolen. In order to repay his supplier, Brad Gurdlinger (played by Ed Helms), David is forced to transport a large shipment of marijuana from Mexico into the United States.

To avoid suspicion at the border, David comes up with the idea of creating a fake family to pose as tourists. He recruits his cynical stripper neighbor Rose O’Reilly (played by Jennifer Aniston), a naive and lonely teenager Kenny Rossmore (played by Will Poulter), and a streetwise punk named Casey Mathis (played by Emma Roberts) to play his wife and kids.

As the fake Miller family embarks on a road trip to Mexico, they encounter various comedic situations and challenges. The film combines humor with elements of crime and family dynamics as the characters navigate their way through unexpected obstacles.

In the climax, the Millers face a series of escalating complications, including encounters with drug dealers and law enforcement. The resolution involves the characters coming together to overcome their challenges and outsmart their adversaries.

“We’re the Millers” received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for the performances of the cast and criticism for some of the film’s crude humor. Despite the critical reception, the movie performed well at the box office and found an audience who appreciated its blend of comedy and heist elements.
