The Family

The story follows the Manzoni family, including former mafia boss Giovanni Manzoni (played by Robert De Niro), his wife Maggie (played by Michelle Pfeiffer), and their children Belle (played by Dianna Agron) and Warren (played by John D’Leo). The family is placed in witness protection and relocated to a small town in France under the supervision of FBI Agent Robert Stansfield (played by Tommy Lee Jones).

Despite their attempts to assimilate into a quiet, suburban life, the Manzonis struggle to keep their violent and criminal tendencies in check. As they face various challenges and threats from their past, the family resorts to using their old Mafia tactics to handle situations, drawing unwanted attention to themselves.

In the climax, the Manzonis’ past catches up with them, leading to a violent confrontation with those seeking revenge. The resolution involves the family facing the consequences of their actions and finding a way to protect each other while dealing with the fallout of their criminal past.

“The Family” received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for the performances of the cast and criticism for the uneven tone and execution of the film. While some enjoyed its dark humor and action sequences, others found it lacking in depth and coherence.
