I, Frankenstein

The story is a modern reinterpretation of Mary Shelley’s classic novel “Frankenstein.” It picks up where the original story left off, with Victor Frankenstein’s creature, Adam Frankenstein (played by Aaron Eckhart), surviving into the present day. Adam is caught in a war between two immortal clans, the Gargoyles (angelic beings) and the Demons (dark supernatural entities).

Adam, who possesses superhuman strength and immortality, is pursued by both factions. The Gargoyles, led by Queen Leonore (played by Miranda Otto), see him as a potential ally against the Demon Prince Naberius (played by Bill Nighy), who seeks to harness the secret of reanimation to create an army of soulless corpses.

In the midst of the conflict, Adam discovers Naberius’s plan to bring the dead back to life and unleash an army of undead upon the world. To stop the impending apocalypse, Adam must choose sides and confront the powerful forces that seek to manipulate him.

The film is filled with supernatural and action elements, featuring battles between Adam, Gargoyles, and Demons. It explores themes of identity, redemption, and the consequences of playing god.

In the climax, Adam faces off against Naberius, leading to a showdown between the forces of good and evil. The resolution involves Adam making a sacrifice to protect humanity and find a sense of purpose in his existence.

“I, Frankenstein” received generally negative reviews from critics, with criticism directed at its convoluted plot, special effects, and lack of character development. The film aimed to provide a unique twist on the classic Frankenstein tale by blending it with elements of dark fantasy and action.
