Macbeth

In the climax of the movie, Macbeth (Michael Fassbender), consumed by his ambition and driven to madness by guilt, faces Macduff (Sean Harris) in a final battle. The two engage in a fierce combat sequence, and Macbeth is eventually defeated by Macduff.

In the resolution, Macbeth’s death marks the end of his tyrannical reign as the King of Scotland. Malcolm (Jack Reynor), the rightful heir to the throne, is declared the new king. Lady Macbeth (Marion Cotillard) has already died by suicide earlier in the film due to her guilt and descent into madness.

The film concludes with Malcolm assuming the throne, bringing an end to the chaotic and blood-soaked rule of Macbeth. The tragic consequences of Macbeth’s unchecked ambition are evident as Scotland begins the process of recovery under its new king.

In summary, “Macbeth” ends with the downfall and death of the title character, as well as the restoration of order to Scotland under the rule of Malcolm. The film remains faithful to the tragic narrative of William Shakespeare’s play, emphasizing the destructive nature of unchecked ambition and the consequences of political upheaval.
