Ultimately, they seek refuge at a deli owned by Joe Dixon (played by Mykelti Williamson) and his friends Marcos (played by Joseph Julian Soria) and Laney Rucker (played by Betty Gabriel). Together, they form an unlikely alliance to survive the night and resist the powerful forces targeting Roan.

As the film builds to its conclusion, the group faces multiple threats, including a powerful and influential Purge supporter named Caleb Warrens (played by Raymond J. Barry). Roan, guided by her principles, remains determined to end the Purge.

In the final act, Roan is elected as the new President of the United States, and she vows to abolish the Purge once and for all. The movie ends with the promise of change, hinting at a shift in the dystopian society depicted in the franchise.

In summary, “The Purge: Election Year” concludes with Senator Charlie Roan surviving Purge night, winning the presidential election, and pledging to end the annual event. The film explores themes of political corruption, resistance, and the consequences of a society built on sanctioned violence.
