Wonder Woman

In “Wonder Woman” (2017), the movie concludes with a climactic battle between Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) and the film’s main antagonist, Ares, the god of war, played by David Thewlis in disguise. During their confrontation, Diana discovers that Sir Patrick Morgan (Thewlis’ character) is actually Ares, and he attempts to manipulate her into joining him in creating chaos and destruction in the world.

Ares reveals that he has been influencing humanity throughout history, exacerbating conflicts and wars. He argues that humans are inherently violent and warlike, and he seeks to convince Diana that they deserve to be wiped out. However, Diana remains steadfast in her belief in the goodness of humanity and the potential for love to overcome hatred.

In a climactic moment, Diana taps into her full powers as the demigoddess daughter of Zeus. She defeats Ares in an epic battle, choosing love and compassion over succumbing to the god of war’s influence. The movie ends with Diana helping to liberate a town under siege during World War I, solidifying her commitment to protecting humanity and embracing her role as Wonder Woman.

The film concludes with a contemporary scene showing Diana in Paris, reflecting on her past and her continuing mission to protect the world. The ending sets the stage for Wonder Woman’s future adventures, including her involvement in the Justice League.
