The Out-Laws

At the end of “The Out-Laws,” Owen Browning, played by Adam DeVine, ends up robbing a bank and killing his fiancée’s kidnappers to prove he’s a hero worthy of marrying Parker. The movie concludes with a meta-joke where Owen’s bank employees discuss how messed up it is that the bride’s parents held them at gunpoint, highlighting the film’s comedic and over-the-top tone. The fate of Owen and his in-laws suggests that they have escaped their predicament, at least for the time being, leaving room for potential future adventures or a sequel
