However, mercenaries and General Martinez converge, leading to a fatal shootout that claims Jorge’s life. The CDI steps in to quell the chaos, saving Venegas. In the aftermath, Venegas pledges a shift to a transitional government and substantial investment in the country’s infrastructure. The film concludes with Mason returning home, pleasantly surprised to find that Venegas has redirected a significant sum to his account, securing Mason’s future prospects.
